Today, Klaipėda Maritime Cadet Gymnasium hosted the national student conference “Lithuania – A Maritime State”, dedicated to strengthening the understanding of Lithuania as a maritime state and commemorating the 90th anniversary of the Lithuanian Naval Forces.

The conference brought together 8–11 grade students from schools across Lithuania, who presented their research and creative projects on various maritime topics. It was inspiring to see such strong curiosity, critical thinking, and genuine interest in the future of Lithuania’s maritime sector.

The Lithuanian Maritime Academy (LAJM), OJ Crew, the Lithuanian Seafarers’ Union, and the Lithuanian Naval Forces were proud to take part in this meaningful initiative. Together, we had the honor of evaluating the students’ presentations and awarding the most outstanding works.

Supporting young talent and encouraging the next generation to explore maritime careers is not only an investment in their future, but also in the future of Lithuania as a maritime nation.

Congratulations to all participants for their excellent work and dedication!
