The Lithuanian Seafarers’ Union, together with its partners, continues its nationwide tour across educational institutions, introducing young people to opportunities within the maritime sector and inviting them to participate in the third annual maritime camp, “Love the Sea 2026”, which will take place in Klaipėda from August 1–9.
The project aims to strengthen the understanding of Lithuania as a maritime nation, promote maritime careers among prospective students, and familiarize senior school students with career opportunities in the maritime industry.
Throughout February and March, the delegation visited several gymnasiums across Lithuania. The presentations generated strong interest among students, with many already registering for the 2026 camp. The second phase of the project – the selection of camp participants – will begin in April.
