A maritime career presentation was held at a gymnasium in Gargždai, introducing students aged 14–18 to the seafarer profession and career opportunities in the maritime industry.
The event brought together speakers from Lithuanian Maritime Academy – LAJM, the Lithuanian Seafarers’ Union, OJ Crew, and the Lithuanian Naval Forces, offering students a broad and realistic overview of maritime careers, covering education, professional pathways as as seafarer, and service in the navy. Through presentations, discussions, and interactive activities, students were encouraged to explore future career paths and better understand the opportunities within the maritime sector.
