The Baltic Branch of the Nautical Institute Conference was held at the Lithuanian Maritime Academy (LAJM) in Klaipėda. The event gathered professionals and organizations from across the maritime sector to discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping the industry in Lithuania and the Baltic region.

The Lithuanian Crewing Companies Association contributed to the discussions by addressing pressing issues facing maritime businesses today, including:

  • Regulatory barriers and competitive pressures affecting the Lithuanian market.
  • The importance of updating national legislation to strengthen competitiveness and attract international investment.
  • Practical strategies to support sustainable growth and ensure Lithuania’s stronger position in the global maritime arena.

As part of its ongoing work, the Association has already prepared and presented strategic proposals to the new parliament on behalf of the maritime community. These initiatives aim to create a more favourable business environment and to unlock Lithuania’s full maritime potential.

The Lithuanian Crewing Companies Association will continue to represent and defend the interests of its members, fostering collaboration and driving positive change for the future of Lithuania’s maritime industry.
